These touchscreen displays offer a host of hardware features not typically available in this price range. Low end models have a 200MHz processor and 64MB of DRAM memory. For more demanding applications, high end models have a 500MHz processor and 256MB to 2GB internal flash memory. Add versatility by connecting an external keyboard, mouse, printer, barcode reader, or external speakers for audio output.

The Windows^® CE operating system is included on most models with Windows XP Embedded available as an option. You can create your own custom application or use off-the-shelf programs such as Maple Systems WebStudio operator interface software. The built-in web browser and Internet support allow you to easily display web pages.

Why Open Platform?

The Ivory Series Panel PCs are “open platform” operator interfaces that employ the Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded or Windows® CE.NET^TM operating system. The Ivory Series are uniquely positioned in the HMI market, offering advanced features that were formerly available only in full-scale industrial computers yet at a much lower cost usually associated with traditional proprietary HMIs.

Larger Displays, More Power with Windows® CE

If you need a larger display or a Windows® CE.NET^TM Panel PC with more power, the HMI610X-CE, HMI612-CE, and HMI615-CE are a great choice. As with the two models above, these Panel PCs come pre-loaded with the Microsoft Windows® CE.NET^TM 5.0 operating system. Three display sizes (10.4", 12.1", and 15.0") are available with higher resolution and room to display more information. Each unit contains 256 MB of internal flash and 256 MB of DRAM that is very useful in many memory-intensive applications. The 500 MHz processor ensures faster operation.

Windows® XP Embedded PCs with Top-of-the-line Hardware

For some applications, using the Windows® CE.NET^TM operating systems is not an option — the application requires a Windows® XP environment. Or the application is very demanding on the HMI610X-XP, the 12.1" HMI612X-XP, and the 15" HMI615X-XP are equipped to do the job. As with the three Windows® CE models above, these Panel PC are equipped with a 500 MHz processor for fast response time. These top-of-the-line models include 2 GB of internal flash memory and 256 MB of DRAM memory for runtime memory that will run most Windows® XP embedded applications.
